Carlos Gomez spent 34 years as a game warden in the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, and 7 years serving in Oklahoma County. Uniquely, he spent his entire career in the urban area of Tulsa County, the only game warden to do so in Oklahoma’s history. Though this was the case, his time in urban areas was filled with hunting and fishing interactions, as well as education of the public. In his retirement, he actively enjoys the outdoors and regularly attends meetings with a conservation club and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
